Girmay Mesfin Girmay Mesfin, living in France, is travelling almost all over in Europe promoting the wonders of his country Ethiopia.

Concerned by the portrait of his country drawn by the sirens of the Western Media, he decided to venture in a World Wide bicycle tour with the aim of bettering the image of Ethiopia and promoting tourism.

I realized the world has a lot of misunderstanding about Ethiopia 's real image. So in a way, I wanted to create the opportunity for the rest of the world to discover about the amazing history, incredible nature, beautiful culture of Ethiopia for social and economic mutual benefit, says Girmay.

The apparent objective is to prevent the dissemination of information that is critical of the regime but also to send an intimidating message to the Diaspora and attempt to muzzle it.
