We are deeply saddened by the news of the death of Shambel Samuel Truneh.

Shambel Samuel has been an exceptional, prolific and prominent Warka participant since the inception in June 2000.
We join all Warka participants in extending our recognition of his profound patriotism, his valuable contributions to the online forums through relentless and active participation in various discussions.

We lost a great patriot! May his soul rest in peace.

ሻምበል ሳሙኤል ጥሩነህ በስደት በሚኖሩበት ሀገር ሲዊድን በህክመና ሲረዱ ከቆዩ ቡኃላ March 27/2010 ከዚህ አለም በሞት ተለይተዋል። የሻምበል ጥሩነህ ሀሙስ April 22/2010 በ Stockholm,Skogskyrkogårdከቀኑ 13.20 ወዳጆቻቸው ዘመድ ወገን በተገኙበት የቀብር ስነሥርዐቱ ተፈፅሞዋል። በቀብሩ ስርዐት ላይ የስዊድን የመኢአድ ድጋፍ ኮሜቴ እና የኢትዮጵያ አንበሶች ሩም ፓልቶክ  ለሻምበል ጥሩነህ የአበባ ጉንጉን አኑረዋል። እንዲሁም የተለያዩ የሲቪክና የፖለቲካ ድርጅቶች ሃዘናቸውን በስፍራው ገልፀዋል።

Ethiopia is the only country in sub-Saharan Africa to actively engage in political censorship of the Internet. Since May 2006, the top five most popular Ethiopian web sites (including CyberEthiopia) and several blogs have been blocked across the nation. The apparent objective is to prevent the dissemination of information that is critical of the regime.
