Ethio-Zürich Football Club Donates 30’000 CHF to World Food Program

Ethio-Zürich Football Club has contributed 30’000 Swiss Francs in support of the relief component of World Food Program’s Protracted and Relief Operation.

The funds were raised in few weeks by fans and supporters of the Ethio-Zürich Football Club following the announcement by various media outlets in December 2015 of the need of urgent humanitarian assistance to over 10 million ethiopians.

The generous contribution of Ethio-Zürich Footbal Club to WFP reflects the commitment of Ethiopians living abroad to contribute to efforts in addressing the humanitarian crisis in Ethiopia, underlined the thank you letter of the World Food Program.
